MARC LEAF is a partner at the New York law firm Drinker Biddle & Reath and a member of the firm’s leadership team. From 2011 to 2014, Marc served as a senior legal and policy adviser to the Securities and Exchange Commission in Washington, D.C. He is a trusted adviser to corporate boards and executive officers.
A Hastings native, Marc is in his first term on the Board of Trustees. He is proud of the Board’s work to improve the Uniontown baseball field, repave streets, and add much-needed sidewalks—all while keeping taxes as low as possible.
Previously, Marc served on the Zoning Board of Appeals. He has also been a long-time board member of Temple Beth Shalom and a member of the Southside Social and Athletic Club.
Marc is a graduate of Hastings High School, Harvard College, and Duke University School of Law. He has been married to Debra Oaks for 25 years. Marc’s five children live in five different states, but they all enjoy coming back to Hastings for its walkable paths and streets, timeless Hudson River views, and legendary bagels.
