Thank you, Caucus Voters!

January 26, 2022

Dear Hastings Democrats, On behalf of the Hastings Democratic Committee, THANK YOU! More than 600 of you came down to the Community Center

on Sunday to make your voices heard, despite the cold and a line that stretched well up Main Street. I was struck by the patience and kindness that Hastings Democrats showed each other and to our volunteers. Every hour, more than 200 of you passed through the doors—four at a time, distanced and masked, and eager to vote. Thank you for your participation in this year’s Caucus for your support of this huge effort. The Hastings Democratic Committee congratulates Trustees Morgen Fleisig and Georgia Lopez on their resounding victory. They ran a campaign that vigorously defended their policies, patiently explained their process, and shared their vision for leadership with the people of Hastings-on-Hudson. They fought for and earned the Democratic nomination for re-election as our Trustees. Please stay engaged to learn how you can get involved with Trustee Fleisig and Lopez's campaign for re-election. We thank the challengers for bringing their voices and voter choice to the 2022 Caucus season. No matter who your candidate was this

year, we can all share pride that Hastings Democrats debated ideas, advocated their positions, and brought their energy to the ballot box. Now, please mark your calendars for the Village Election on Tuesday, March 15th. The polls will be open from 7:AM to 9:PM at the James V. Harmon Community Center. Lastly, please join Congressman Mondaire Jones, State Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins, and fellow Democrats next Monday, January 31st, at the Greenburgh Democratic Town Committee's Zoom fundraiser. These events are a great way to get inspired and connected, and to see how our elected leaders work together at every level of government. There will be live music from hometown favorites River Run! See below for details. I hope to see you there. Onward, Cassandra
